utsukushiki-yami.org was purchased on November 22nd, 2008 and has replaced my former fanlisting collective which was a subdomain of november-solitude.net. As my obsesssion for fanlistings has grown, I felt it was about time to give this passion a domain itself. Coming up with a good name was not easy but since I wanted something japanese, I asked Stilla for help. And thanks to her, I found exactly what I was looking for. utsukushiki-yami means "Beautiful Darkness". Why? Well, I love the darkness; I am a creature of the night. Staying up late is a passion of mine and I enjoy my weekends when it's dark and quiet outside and I can do my stuff in the silence of the night. I also love looking outside to the stars at the sky, deep in the night knowing that nothing will disturb me. Darkness gives me a feeling of security and protection. To me, darkness is something very beautiful <3. Like Kunzite-sama said in Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon: "True Beauty is found in the Darkness" - Nothing more to say^^.

The current layout is version no. 2 of November Obsessions and features the amazing character Sephiroth from the Final Fantasy series. For some strage reason, I am addicted to white-haired characters and, even more strange, nearly all of them are the villians of the series they are appearing in. Don't know why, but it's just like that xD. So Sephiroth is also a character I am very fond of. A Fallen Angel with a tragic history. And of course, the main color of the layout is black... darkness... silence... beauty xD. Just can't help myself but the layouts I like the most and that are normally online for months, are the ones that are black. I have tried to escape this habit, oh yes, I have tried, but all layouts without black were very ephemeral and I ended up with revamping my collective again. So hopefully, Sephiroth will stay with us a little while =).
